Trey Sansom is the Program Director and primary host of Engaging Truth. He also serves as pastor of Joy Summerwood Church, an LCMS congregation in northeast Houston committed to connecting the disconnected to a growing and multiplying relationship with Jesus Christ and one another.

As a pastor, musician, and communicator, Trey is passionate about clearly proclaiming the Gospel and equipping everyday disciples to confidently engage everyday people with God’s unchanging truth. Through honest conversations about Jesus, Scripture, faith, and everyday life, he helps believers understand what they believe, why it matters, and how to share it naturally with the people around them—all rooted in the good news that Jesus is better at forgiving than you are at sinning.
